Mike was born in La Porte, Indiana, on Dec. 11, 1965 to Harold and Luella (Woodard) Post.

On Oct. 17, 1992 in La Porte he married Rhonda Witt who survives. Also surviving are his beloved children, Patrick Post of La Porte, Christopher (Melissa) Witt of Michigan City, Brittney Witt of La Porte; grandson, Dalton Underwood; sister, Terri Ekins of La Porte; brother, Dave Post of Springfield, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Patricia Huffman and Sharon List.

Mike loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, sitting by the fire, and working on cars. He worked for Precoat in La Porte as a Crane Operator for 15
