Larry Williams

Lawrence “Larry” Lee Williams, 50, of La Porte, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at La Porte Hospital.

He was born on April 26, 1966, in South Bend, Indiana, to Herman Williams and Judith (Mould) Toles.

Larry worked for the American Licorice Company, La Porte, for several years. He attended Agape Christian Church, La Porte. Larry once owned and operated Ann’s Tropical Fish, Rolling Prairie. He enjoyed going to concerts, organizing the potluck at work, and he especially enjoyed attending the Indy 500 for the past 25 years. Larry was a sweetheart, who never gained an enemy. His family loved him dearly.

Surviving are his parents, Judith “Judy” Toles of Plymouth and Herman “Red” (Marie) Williams of South Bend; companion, Colette Obanion of Hudson Lake Twnship; two children, Kristina (Zach) Born of New Carlisle and Nicole Williams of La Porte; one brother, Phillip (Kelly) Williams of Russaville, IN; one sister, Teri (Tim) Moore of Monterey, IN; half siblings, Donna (Gary) Mitschelen, Kevin (Amy) Williams, Todd (Tammy) Williams, Ed (Marilyn) Williams, Tom (Nila) Crowe, and Cheryl (Rob) Mitchell; two grandchildren, Noah and Eli Born; and six nieces and nephews, Brook Harshman, Blake Williams, Alyson Williams, Summer Moore, Zachery Moore, and Nicholas Moore.

Preceding him in death were his brother, Robert “Bob” Williams; grandparents, Cyril and Ruth Mould; and step father, Dan Toles.
